Vacation in Vienna
I have been a certified tourist guide for 17 years and I love my job. 8 years ago I started to work out a special tour for my family, friends, acquaintances and their companies and guests at least once a month. Why should only tourists see the hidden places and get to know interesting connections?
It is unlikely that many tourists will be able to come to Vienna in 2021. That is why I can offer a lot more tours for Austrians and I will do this together with my colleagues who are also state-certified tour guides.
You don't have to move away from Vienna to be far away from the daily routine and feel like you're traveling and discovering new things. The concept is tried and tested and is kind to the environment, because all meeting points can be reached by public transport. Each tour is suitable for anyone who likes to walk or cycle for 2-3 hours. Often we end our time together in a pub, so the local economy also benefits from it.
WHAT DO WE EXPERIENCE DURING A HOLIDAY IN VIENNA? City districts, art in public spaces, gardens, craft workshops, through-houses, modern, hidden and highlights. Each tour offers a variety of them, flavored with biographies, history and stories;
WHAT INTERESTED SHOULD KNOW:
From a number of participants of 5 people, we will guide with Groupe Guide systems from Voice2go, so that it is very easy for everyone to hear us well and to keep enough distance from each other. Parents are responsible for their children. The tours take place in all weathers.

MEDIZIN IM WANDEL DER ZEIT
Die Ausstellung im Prunksaal der Nationalbibliothek zeigt die Entwicklung der Gesundheitsversorgung von der Antike bis ins frühe 20. Jahrhundert mit einem besonderen Fokus auf Wien.
Das Bild zeigt uns, wie man eine Alraun-Wurzel erntet, es ist kompliziert und gefährlich, so viel sei schon verraten.
Termine: Mittwoch 11. und Donnerstag 12. Februar 2026, 10 - 12 Uhr

GUSTAVE COURBET IM LEOPOLD MUSEUM
Gustave Courbet, 1819-1877, französischer Maler des Realismus. Er hatte in seinem Realistischen Manifest 1855 einen neuen Zugang zur Malerei dargelegt. Gegen den Idealismus begründete er die realistische Malerei als die ausschließliche Darstellung der Dinge, die der Künstler sehen und berühren kann.

DER KARL MARX HOF
Dieser Gemeindebau in Döbling ist eine Ikone des roten Wien und mit 1km Länge der längste zusammenhängende Wohnbau der Welt. 1930 wurde dieses Versailles der Arbeiter eröffnet. Wir hören beim Spaziergang über die Entstehung, die Politik und die verschiedenen Einrichtungen einst und jetzt. Die Führung endet im Waschsalon wo wir die neue Ausstellung 'Bäderwesen' besuchen.
